Why would God want me healed? Because an army afflicted with sickness, disease and wounds is not a strong fighting army. God needs a strong army, full of Him, full of health and power! He has called us to be apostles, teachers, prophets, evangelists, pastors, etc….

Message of the week from Claribel
The peace of The Holy Spirit
Peace needs to rule our hearts, because we are one member of a whole body. It should rule in our hearts as we live.
If we have doubts or are troubled with anxiety, we need to discipline ourselves to slow down or stop to recall His peace in us, before we step out to make a decision.
We need to act like The Prince of Peace, & learn to share Him with others. It can look like smiling to a stranger, or greeting a stranger.
Claribel buying a vehicle
They had travelled to another town to review this vehicle. They knew it had high mileage, but when the title document was brought out, Claribel lost her peace. She heard, "Sleep on it." She spoke to her husband about how its necessary to wait to buy the car. He purchased the vehicle after all, but the next day when registering the title, Claribel learned that the vehicle was salvaged & rebuilt. They returned to the seller to inquire about a partial refund, but he declined. The Lord was so wonderful to redeem the situation, He had replaced the vehicle with a brand new truck.
Claribel was looking for reasoning in the midst of troubles, but the Holy Spirit was helping her keep her peace. The Holy Spirit warned her at the time, but even after completing the sale, the Holy Spirit still revealed to her what the issue was; she didn't have to go searching for the reason.
If your peace leaves you, you'll know it.
It's simple to plead the Blood of Jesus over you to reclaim that peace. No matter what the problem is, small or big, plead the Blood of Jesus. No matter where you are or what you're doing, you can plead the Blood & regain His peace. He already paid for it, it's yours if you claim it!
You can transfer that peace, like LaVerne & Shellie did to both gentleman this week. When you have peace living in your heart, thats what will reflect in your life Luke 6:45

This week, Ken shared his knowledge on the Hebrew word, "Shalom."
Ken came to know the lord at 12 years of age. He was raised Jewish, and loved the outdoors. Called God out & said you're either real or a liar. He started to see Jesus was real & how He wanted Ken to come to Him. A sister in Christ gave him his first full Bible, and he accepted Jesus at age 20. His Jewish life is still alive and well.
In Hebrew culture, you're given a Hebrew name at birth & Ken's is Shalom. Come hear what Ken has learned.

Message of the Week
Claribel shared her mission trip experience with the group. Thanks to all for the donations, they were greatly appreciated. The boxes of clothing arrived but were lost. The Holy Spirit helped Claribel find the donations they were distributed to the children at The Pink House orphanage. The cash donations went to help a little girl that needs surgery. A six-year-old girl that had surgery in February was walking. After traveling to do mission work in the Dominican Republic, for 3 years, Claribel had the opportunity to minister to some of her family members. Timing is everything. Thanks be to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. One evening when Claribel and her team were driving home from ministering, they got lost. She had an opportunity to be afraid, but she started laughing. The joy of the Lord came upon her. She prayed and laughed. She continued laughing even when it looked like they were never going to find their way. Out of nowhere they turned down a road and there was their destination. God is so big! Claribel and her team had an opportunity to get afraid and be paralyzed by fear, but they were able to recognize this was a plot from the enemy. "Be alert, be on watch! Your enemy, the devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Be firm in your faith and resist him, because you know that other believers in the world are going through the same kind of sufferings." 1 Peter 5:8-9. Laurie added "the enemy was trying to mess things up but the joy of the Lord changes things."
We had a wonderful time expanding on Claribel's mission trip testimony & relating to the wonderful connections from our own life to her testimony
The last week of August is an open heaven. The last 3 days of August we should be mindful of our thoughts & words
Don’t forget to journal for your biological, bonus, and spiritual kids and grandkids and their school year. And journal for yourself because this is a new season for you also.

Jehovah Roi/Rohi/Raah - Psalm 23 the lord is my Shepard i shall not want. “The self-existent one who needs nothing and who possesses everything I need. I AM all the sheep will ever need.
El Roi - the God who sees me. Genesis 16:13. Hagar.
Parousia - presence, appearing, coming, advent (G4242)
I first heard this word and concept from Bob Jones. The Lord called him home February 14, 2014. He was a prophet that had clinically died twice and returned to earth and subsequently “visited heaven” on a daily basis. In one of his sermons/talks he explained when we sit in the presence of God during our quiet time we should ask the Holy Spirit to “take us up”, “be caught up in His presence” on a daily basis. He explained that when we spend time in his presence and we get up and then go about our day we take with us the “Parousia”. He explained it as bringing down the presence as a result of visiting heaven. I was taught that it is called “the Shekinah Glory”

Message of the week
In the month of August the Lord is fortifying us like Jericho. We are not the same as we were. We are going to be unshakable, unbreakable. There will be no lack, no fear. Breakthrough will cause us to be strong and courageous. He is fortifying us for the breakthrough. In Jeremiah 1:18-19 God is saying there is a clarion call which is a strong request for something to happen. A trumpet call. A call to your appointment. Come out of fear and complacency because He has set you apart and now it is the time for you to come. The mantles are falling. The spiritual covering, anointing, spiritual authority, divine favor, and instruction to carry out God’s plan for you that He has positioned you for. Just like Elijah and Elisha had a mantle. We have to beware of scandals -which are situations. And scoundrels-which are people who may try to come and get you to forfeit the mighty work to be done. But, He has equipped us to do it. Do not doubt the power in God’s hand. He has sent a clarion call and the mantle has fallen like the spirit of Elijah, Deborah, David, Esther, Ruth, etc.. Isaiah 43:1-2 “But now, this is what the LORD, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity]; I have called you by name; you are Mine!’” He has called us by name!!! Names are important. Remember in the Bible there are so many places where He refers to people by name. He may change their name but it’s always their name that holds power. It’s the reason you are named what you are.
I would encourage you to meditate on Psalms 126 daily but especially when you are in fear. “When the Lord brought back the captives [who returned] to Zion, we were like those who dream [it seemed so unreal]. Then were our mouths filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them. The Lord has done great things for us! We are glad! Turn to freedom our captivity and restore our fortunes, O Lord, as the streams in the South (the Negeb) [are restored by the torrents]. They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing. He who goes forth bearing seed and weeping [at needing his precious supply of grain for sowing] shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:1-6 AMPC.
Soaking in the presence with God

The Woman that pour out oil on Jesus and washed His feet with her hair smelled just like He did when she left His presence. When we sit in His presence, we too will leave smelling like Him & with his glory going with us.
The FIRST realm is the physical earth.
The SECOND realm is the angelic and demonic realm.
Mid-heaven.
The THIRD heaven, the beauty and the glory realm, is entered through worship. It is full of joy, love, peace.
We are praying from heaven when we are in the third heaven.
Soaking in the presence of God gets everyone on the same page. When we get into God’s presence we can lay down the things that encumber us.
Soaking brings us God’s heart. It reveals to us His will. Soaking brings you into the throne of God.

Ken shared a beautiful addition to the word shared, Shalom
"My Hebrew name is Shalom. I have a wonderful scripture in 2 Kings 4:23 & 2 Kings 4:26. The Shunamite woman told her husband & Elijah through faith after her son died, Shalom. What an amazing faith & strength" ... "In your bible, the words written will be 'It is well,' but the actual Hebrew word is Shalom. In all situations we can say, 'It is well' no matter how difficult or bad the situation looks" ... "All those words "All right" is the Hebrew word Shalom."
Denise shared the power of praying & the establishment that God places within us. Which translates into a great prayer for the next generations, including the powerless.

2 Kings 4:11-37 Denise gave us a suggested assignment as we read this verse for the next 7-days:
Ask God: What is the symbolism of the dead boy in my life? Use your imagination to pickup the dead child and carry it to the donkey. There is usually a vehicle (donkey) that helps you carry the dead thing to the Lord. He will show you how to bring it back to life.

Ken added that our children are made Holy by your faith in Christ. There is a supernatural connection between you & your children

The Holy Spirit has asked us to pray for four people for healing and/or a miracle.
Miracle - a supernatural intervention of God coming into the natural affairs of men. (Or into the natural realm.). It said it both ways.
Meditate on the miracles of God. This increases our faith to stand for our miracles and healing. Read the word of God, especially Jesus’ miracles and this will increase our faith for miracles and healing.

This is a continuation of our teaching and application on healing and miracles. Praying and standing in faith for healing and miracles is not a formula to be applied like a check list. Each person should be prayed for one at a time and treated as individual cases. Seek the will of God for each one. We are not asking God IF He wants to heal them or perform a miracle, but HOW He wants to display His glory in each situation.

Epiphany in Greek is Epiphaneia meaning “manifestation”.
It is a Christian holiday commemorating the first manifestation of Jesus Christ to the gentiles, represented by the Magi. The Epiphany (manifestation) of His divinity, as it occurred at His baptism in the Jordan River and at His first miracle at Cana in Galilee are also celebrated on January 6th every year. Epiphany is also called: Theophany which means revelation of God; three kings’ day; and 12th day. It is known as the 12 days of Christmas because Epiphany is January 6th which is 12 days after Christmas.

Fruits of The Holy Spirit are not only characteristics of the likeness of God, but they are characteristics we are to pour out onto others as He did. WE are also giving Him a gift through developing and walking in the fruits of the spirit. Who hasn’t been blessed by one of their children emulating a good trait that they have been trying to develop within them? The gift of our dying to self and being obedient brings joy to The Lord.

A few weeks ago, I asked the Lord if we could go back to studying about the women in the Bible. He did not have me do that. I asked the following week and that is the week we heard about the ten virgins. I asked last week and that is when we heard about the talents and the minas. Did you hear me throw in the “widow’s mite” there at the end? This week I asked again, Lord can we please learn some more about the women in the Bible. He said, “Okay pick one”.
Just wait and see what He did. He is so awesome!!!
