SAY SOMETHING NOTES
February 16, 2022
The Holy Spirit has asked us to pray for four people for healing and/or a miracle.
#1 - O - Went to be with the Lord February 9, 2022. We were praying for healing of CP and because of CP when he contracted covid it caused additional health problems.
We don’t know why “O” went home to be with the Lord but we continue to seek the Lord with our whole heart. When we do not know the answers to our questions we must remember we know the one who does. His name is Jesus Christ. When Tim Storey, healing evangelist, was learning to move in the gift of healing he used Crisco to slather on his hands and arms and “wait” on the Lord in the chapel at the Bible college he was attending. He told the Lord he was not leaving the chapel until He anointed him. Just like Jacob did with the angel of the Lord in Genesis 32:24-32. Tim received that anointing and moves in healing and evangelization mightily. The first two years he prayed for anyone to be healed they died. The Holy Spirit was teaching him it is just as important to believe for and pray for someone that the Lord is preparing to take home as it is to pray and believe for someone’s soul and spirit to be restored and heal to finish out their mission here on earth. Just remember, “God is too loving to be unkind and too wise to make a mistake.” John Hagee.
#2 - J - is back at work after recovering from covid. The cold weather bothers his bones. He has a good spirit about things. He doesn’t remember if he ever walked. Someone told him when he was young he did walk. It is believed that the many surgeries he has had caused him to not be able to walk. We are believing and standing in faith for a complete healing and restoration for him. He also has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
#3 - L - needs complete healing and restoration for health issues that began at age 7. We prayed for the gift of faith for her. (See 1 Corinthians 12) And Ephesians 2:10. In 2006, I was going through a difficult time in my life and I was about to give up on the situation. The Holy Spirit asked me if I had seen any progress towards the answer to my prayer. I told Him yes but it was small. He asked me if I would trust Him and rely on Him and His miraculous power as long as I saw “progress” in the situation. I told Him I would. So every time I feel discouraged and feel like the situation is hopeless, He asks me, “Denise, do you see progress towards the victory?” I then say, “Yes”. He always replies, “Then praise me for the progress and trust Me.” He also gave me this verse. Zechariah 4:10 “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)” New Living Translation.
#4 - C - had Hotchkins disease (cancer), heart attack, internal bleeding. We prayed for a miracle, emotional healing and provision and protection for her five kids.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Miracle - a supernatural intervention of God coming into the natural affairs of men. (Or into the natural realm.). It said it both ways.
Meditate on the miracles of God. This increases our faith to stand for our miracles and healing. Read the word of God, especially Jesus’ miracles and this will increase our faith for miracles and healing.
Creation is a miracle.
Being saved from hell is a miracle.
Birth is a miracle.
Burning bush is a miracle.
Parting of the Red Sea is a miracle.
Birds bringing Elijah food is a miracle.
Psalms 77:11 - AMP
I will [solemnly] remember the deeds of the Lord; Yes, I will [wholeheartedly] remember Your wonders of old.
Other scriptures telling us to speak and meditate and tell our children of the mighty wonders of God.
Psalm 77
Psalm 78
Psalm 89
Psalm 103-107
Deuteronomy 5:15 AMP
“You shall remember [with thoughtful concern] that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.”
It is not our talent nor our brain. God gave us the abilities and talents we have. Worship and praise Him for it.
“But you shall remember [with profound respect] the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore (solemnly promised) to your fathers, as it is this day.”
Deuteronomy 8:18 - AMP
Psalms 106:6-13 - NLT
“Like our ancestors, we have sinned. We have done wrong! We have acted wickedly! Our ancestors in Egypt were not impressed by the Lord’s miraculous deeds. They soon forgot his many acts of kindness to them. Instead, they rebelled against him at the Red Sea. Even so, he saved them— to defend the honor of his name and to demonstrate his mighty power. He commanded the Red Sea to dry up. He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert. So he rescued them from their enemies and redeemed them from their foes. Then the water returned and covered their enemies; not one of them survived. Then his people believed his promises. Then they sang his praise. Yet how quickly they forgot what he had done! They wouldn’t wait for his counsel!”
God is perpetually trying to redeem us when we stray from Him. He is an awesome loving Father.
The Holy Spirit will remind us of the miracles of God if we will ask Him.
“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
John 14:26 - NLT
Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith.
JESUS WAS MOVED WITH COMPASSION TO DO THE WILL OF GOD TO HEAL AND/OR PERFORM A MIRACLE.
“And a man with leprosy came to Jesus, imploring Him and kneeling down, and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, and *said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.” Mark 1:40-42 - NASB
“Having the heart of compassion for an issue is like ‘striking the match’ for the fire to come in and be welcomed.”
Ask Jesus for the compassion He was moved with to pray for the person or situation you are standing in faith for a miracle or healing. When we ask for Jesus’ compassion we are asking to be plugged into the miracle power of God. We receive His compassion the more we are in relationship with Him. “…to such an extent that they even carried their sick out into the streets and put them on cots and sleeping pads, so that when Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on one of them [with healing power]. And the people from the towns in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together, bringing the sick and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all being healed.” Acts 5:15-16 - AMP.
JESUS HEALED THEM ALL:
“News about him spread all over Syria, and people with every kind of sickness or disease were brought to him. Some of them had a lot of demons in them, others were thought to be crazy, and still others could not walk. But Jesus healed them all.” Matthew 4:24 - CEV
THOUGH YOU SLAY ME…
“Even though He kills me; I will hope in Him. Nevertheless, I will argue my ways to His face. “This also will be my salvation, For a godless man may not come before Him. “Listen diligently to my speech, And let my declaration fill your ears. “Behold now, I have prepared my case; I know that I will be vindicated.” Job 13:15-18 - AMP
When we get discouraged or doubt creeps in we should ask ourselves…LORD JESUS WHERE WOULD WE GO?
“Jesus was aware that his disciples were complaining, so he said to them, “Does this offend you? Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again? The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But some of you do not believe me.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn’t believe, and he knew who would betray him.) Then he said, “That is why I said that people can’t come to me unless the Father gives them to me.” At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him. Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God. ” John 6:61-69 - NLT
Some may say we are not meant to know everything. They quote the verse about God’s ways are higher than our ways and move on, sometimes in bitterness, doubt and/or unbelief. “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and decisions and how unfathomable and untraceable are His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it would be paid back to him? For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honor forever! Amen.” Romans 11:33-36 AMP
But I challenge you to sit with the Holy Spirit and talk to Him. Ask Him the hard questions. What best friend does not share everything with their best friend. It is about relationship.
“I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends, because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father.” John 15:15 - AMP
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18 - AMP. The Complete Jewish Bible says, “let’s talk this over together.” I know this scripture is talking about coming to the Lord to talk about our sins but if we are in a place that causes us to turn from Him or doubt Him or be bitter is that not walking us towards sin? I believe He loves us so much if there is anything stealing our peace and our joy He wants to talk about.
“Don’t look to the bigness of your need; look to the bigness of your God. Your circumstances are hindrances to seeing my abilities. If you keep your eyes on your circumstances, the devil will use your circumstances to defeat you and will accuse the Word of God. Your victory is in keeping your eyes on the bigness of your God and His ability. He has promised to take you step by step by step, not all at once and each step will be a Miracle.” Morris Cerullo.
JESUS IS OUR ONLY HOPE…
“This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells],”
Hebrews 6:19 - AMP
IT IS A JOY TO SEARCH OUT THE ANSWERS WE ARE SEEKING.
“It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.” Proverbs 25:2 - NLT
Example: I told them the story about a lady that had 5 kids. Long story short. They were in a car accident and her husband died. Where I was standing it seemed God was not in control, but more than ten years later God revealed His mercy. We do not always know the whole picture.
In the scripture it says we are given 70 years. One place it says 120 years. See Exodus 23:24-27, Psalm 90:10, Psalm 91:16, Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 139:16, Psalm 40:6-8, Hebrews 10:5-7, Revelation 22:19, Revelation 21:22-27, Revelation 20:12, Revelation 10:8-11, Proverbs 3:1-3, Genesis 6:3, Psalms 103:5 we can grow old being full of health.
When Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead He restored everything Adam and Eve handed over to the enemy. If it wasn’t in the Garden of Eden before the fall, then it is not to exist or operate in the Christian. Cancer was not in the Garden so Christians needlessly die of cancer. It is a lack of knowledge and authority application that His people parish. See Hosea 4:6. I do believe we are to walk in expectation of miracles, healings and the infinite compassion of Jesus as a normal everyday occurrence. If we are not there yet there is no need to condemn ourselves. Just keep seeking His face.
“Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1 - NASB. Jesus gave us “full power of attorney” in Mark 16:15-18.
“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.’” Mark 16:15-18 - NASB
Each case is individual. Each person is to be prayed for individually. Just as God never gave David the same battle plan twice to defeat the enemy, so is each person we are praying for. Even though the Lord has numbered our days as the scriptures above say, a person’s will can override God’s perfect plan for their life. So, I ask the Holy Spirit the following:
Is this a sickness unto death?
If yes, ask the Holy Spirit what needs to be prayed so they will accomplished what needs to be accomplished in their soul, spirit and body before they go home to be with the Lord.
If no, ask how to pray and stand for their soul, spirit and physical frame so healing and/or a miracle can manifest.
“As far as I am concerned, God turned into good what you meant for evil, for he brought me to this high position I have today so that I could save the lives of many people.”
Genesis 50:20 - TLB
Angels are about the prayers we pray even before we finish saying them. See Daniel 9:20-23, Daniel 10:12 and Isaiah 65:24.
“If I live, it will be for Christ, and if I die, I will gain even more. I don’t know what to choose. I could keep on living and doing something useful. It is a hard choice to make. I want to die and be with Christ, because that would be much better. But I know that all of you still need me. That’s why I am sure I will stay on to help you grow and be happy in your faith. Then, when I visit you again, you will have good reason to take great pride in Christ Jesus because of me.” Philippians 1:21-26 - CEV
“Then you will call ·my name [me]. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me!” Jeremiah 29:12-13 - EXB
