SAY SOMETHING NOTES
February 9, 2022
This is a continuation of our teaching and application on healing and miracles. Praying and standing in faith for healing and miracles is not a formula to be applied like a check list. Each person should be prayed for one at a time and treated as individual cases. Seek the will of God for each one. We are not asking God IF He wants to heal them or perform a miracle, but HOW He wants to display His glory in each situation. “And I will do whatever you ask in My name [ as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son.” John 14:13-AMP. It is about relationship not formulas.
#1 “O” – CP and Covid. In hospital. We prayed for healing and a miracle last week. He is improving.
#2 “J” – CP and Covid. We prayed for a miracle and healing for him last week. He is back at work and still needs prayer for full recovery of his strength.
#3 “L” – Last week, we prayed for complete healing for multiple physical illnesses. Some that began when she was 7 years old. She was able to use less insulin this last week than she usually does. We praised God for the progress because the word of God says in Zechariah 4:10a. “The people should not think that small beginnings are unimportant [ For who despises the day of small things?]….” When we are thankful for the little things, we give the Holy Spirit an opportunity to work a miracle on our behalf. Frances Hunter’s book “Praise the Lord Anyway” explains this very well. We also prayed this scripture for her, “Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, “I do believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24. And reminded her of this scripture, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” She is God’s wonderful workmanship.
#4 “C” – Hodgkin’s disease (cancer), heart attack, internal bleeding. Five children. We prayed for a miracle.
The Word of God has power. We are to hide the word in our heart. “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalms 119:11
There are seven levels the Word of God works in and through us.
Information
Illumination
Inspiration
Rhema
Revelation
Transformation
Manifestation
Our words have power, and we need to manage what we say and what we do not say. “We have today what we said yesterday.” Author unknown.
God gave us all power and authority. In Mark 14:15-20 Jesus gave, those who believe, His authority when He said, “in my name”. Jesus is conveying His authority to us like that of power of attorney. When Jesus came to be the ultimate sacrifice for the atonement of our sin, He restored all that was lost at the Garden of Eden. So, if it wasn’t in the Garden of Eden, it should not be in the life of those that have ask and received Jesus as their Savior, and Lord. Isaiah 53:5 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.”
Healing is gradual. Example, 2 Kings 5:10-14 Naaman washed seven times in the Jordan River.
Miracles are instant. Example, Mark 2:11-12 Paralytic picked up his mat and walked.
“Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father and then we will be satisfied.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognize clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’ Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works [His attesting miracles and acts of power]. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me] because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed]. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name [ as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it. “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another [c]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.” John 14:8-17 - AMP
A few open doors to consider: (an open door is a place in our heart/soul that does not line up with God’s Word where the enemy has an opportunity to come in and steal, kill and destroy. See John 10:10.)(soul = mind, will and emotions.)
Trauma brings sickness.
Hatred brings ulcers and arthritis.
Fear brings psychosomatic diseases.
“For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, and that of which I am afraid befalls me.” Job 3:25
“A soul tie is like a linkage in the soul realm between two people. It links their souls together, which can bring forth both beneficial results or negative results. The positive effect of a soul tie: In a godly marriage, God links the two together and the Bible tells us that they become one flesh. As a result of them becoming one flesh, it binds them together and they will cleave onto one another in a unique way. The purpose of this cleaving is to build a very healthy, strong and close relationship between a man and a woman. Soul ties can also be found in close strong or close friendships. They are not just limited to marriage, as we can see with King David and Jonathan: (See Matthew 10:5 and 1 Samuel 18:1). The negative effect of a soul tie: Soul ties can also be used for the devil's advantage. Soul ties formed from sex outside of marriage causes a person to become defiled:” (See Genesis 34:2-3) from www.ministeringdeliverance.com/soul_ties.php. Negative soul ties can also be formed through blood covenants and the use of mind-altering drugs.
Ungodly soul ties should be broken between you and people you have had a relationship with. It is as simple as saying, “I break any and all ungodly soul times with __________(the person’s name) in the name and authority of Jesus.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.” Proverbs 18:21 - AMP
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” Luke 6:45 - NKJV
“For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.” James 3:2-7 - NKJV
Here are some scriptures that teach us about the power of our mouth.
“You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.” Job 22:28 - AMP.
“A fool’s mouth is his ruin, And his lips are the snare of his soul.” Proverbs 18:7 – AMP
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and [f]does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power] but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will].” Mark 11:23 - AMP
“Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].” 3 John 1:2 - AMP
“Do not let mercy and kindness and truth leave you [instead let these qualities define you]; Bind them [securely] around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man. Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.” Proverbs 3:3-5 – AMP
More scripture references regarding our mouth.
Proverbs 10:11; Proverbs 12:6,14,18; Proverbs 13:3; Proverbs 14:3; Proverbs 15:2,4; Proverbs 16:9,23-24; Proverbs 21:23; Isaiah 57:19.
One morning during my quiet time with the Lord I was seeking guidance as to how to pray for many people that were in the hospital on ventilators. I was desperate. Pastor John Hagee has a famous quote that says, “God is too loving to be unkind and too wise to make a mistake.” I had heard of many people not recovering after being put on the ventilator. I was crying out to the Lord as we are instructed to do in Proverbs 2:3-5 “Yes, if you cry out for insight, And lift up your voice for understanding; If you seek skillful and godly wisdom as you would silver And search for her as you would hidden treasures; Then you will understand the [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] And discover the knowledge of God.” I knew He would make a way where there seemed to be no way. The Holy Spirit pointed out that the virus effected the lungs and caused inflammation of the heart. He told me to ask Jehovah Tsidkenu – which is God our righteousness, our saving justice, to help them. “And this will be His name: ‘The Lord Is Our Righteousness.’ In that day Judah will be saved, and Israel will live in safety.” Jeremiah 23:6. One of the pieces of the armor of God is the breastplate of righteousness. One of its many purposes is to cover our heart from the fiery darts of the enemy. He then reminded me that one of His names is Rauch Elohim, the wind and the breath of the sovereign God, The Holy Spirit, The Spirit of God. He then led me in prayer to pray that Jehovah Tsidkenu would cover, shield and protect their heart and lungs and that Rauch Elohim would fill their heart and lungs with the miracle working breath of God and restore them to fullness of health. When I received updates on them, they had all recovered to fullness of health. God is so good and amazing. He is endless in His ability to reveal Himself to us and save us from destruction.
Ruach Elohim - The wind and breath of the sovereign God. The Holy Spirit, The Spirit of God. See Genesis 1:2, Exodus 31:3.
I mentioned last week that the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are divided into three groups. Here is that list

As we seek to know the Lord more and seek His face, He will continue to reveal Himself to us. Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”
We may not know all the answers. The numerous books, podcasts, YouTube, articles, and searches on the internet may not produce for us the answer, BUT we know who does have ALL the answers…His name is Jesus Christ. Keep seeking. He promises us that we will find Him and He is Jehovah Shalom the Lord of peace, wholeness, the finished work, fulfillment, perfection.
